When I Grow Up Animation

I asked my 4 year old son what he wanted to be when he grew up and recorded him talking about wanting to be a shopkeeper in Canberra (naturally). This 2 minute animation is my interpretation of his vision. I reconfigured the characters in his mind as chickens / roosters, and developed a warm, gritty, city-based palette of colours and textures. www.stapledesign.com.au

Suzy made all aspects of this short two minute animation. The starting point was audio of our four year old son, Jarrah, talking about what he wanted to be when he grows up. In his vision, the character were chickens / rosters, which informed character development, and a warm gritty city-based montaged palette of colours and textures to match.
